    Damian Marsh told me this at the ASCA national conference in Surfer’s Paradise in November, and for me truer words have not been said:

    “Success in rugby stems from the the the relationships you develop in the environment you create with the players you recruit”

    i.e recruit well (character first and ability second), get player buy in through developing relationships and get them to train hard as a team
