Getstrength have provided the Collingwood Football Club with some very functional innovative training equipment which has provided us with an opportunity to enhance the player’s strength power characteristics. The equipment has allowed new training techniques to be implemented, and has enabled a specific application towards Australian Rules Football.
The Collingwood Football Club are continually seeking cutting edge equipment and transferring training adaptations to the sporting environment, Getstrength equipment takes us to the new level of performance.

David Buttifant PhD
Collingwood AFL Physical Preparation Manager

Strongman training exercises are finding there way into the training programs of many sports and Getstrength have been at the forefront of producing equipment to satisfy the growing needs of trainers in this area.

I have been using strongman and dinosaur type training in the training of football players since 1997 when I was the strength and conditioning coach of the Parramatta Eels in the National Rugby League competition. What started as a session, which was included, as part of a break from traditional training has now become a major part of my strength training program.

Ashley Jones

On behalf of all at Wests Tigers Rugby League Club, we would like to take this opportunity to thank Getstrength for all their help in assisting our organisation with a range of quality Specific and Special Strength equipment throughout this season. With Getstrength leading the way in excellence and service our organisation is happy to endorse there products and is looking forward to having some more guidance on how we can improve as a company in the upcoming seasons.

Yours Thankfully
Ciriaco Mescia
Wests Tigers Performance Coordinator

At our training facility in Sydney, Australia we draw heavily upon Olympic weightlifting and Westside methods to condition our athletes. However, obtaining the suitable equipment in Australia to perform Westside-style training proved to be difficult. Coach Ashley Jones recommended that I try contacting Steve at Getstrength.com to see what they could do, as he was extremely happy with the equipment Steve had made him. The next day I ordered a cambered bar, glute/ham raise, a reverse hyper, chains & suspended chains. I was pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the prices were, even with the shipping to Australia.

The equipment is extremely well built, heavy duty and absolutely outstanding, additionally, Steve and the team were amazing to deal with. The equipment and company comes with my highest recommendation and has provided hours of painful entertainment for our athletes!

Tony Boutagy
Lecturer, Australian Institute of Fitness

To whom it may concern,
The University of Auckland Recreation Centre recently purchased a number of bars and harnesses from Getstrength.com. We have been extremely satisfied at their quality and functionality in complimenting our other resistance training equipment. With a number of members being athletes, strength trainers and bodybuilders, this new equipment has enhanced their existing training regimes. In addition, Steve Thompson’s assistance with training clinics and good communication has been greatly appreciated.

Yours in Health & Fitness,

Tony Vaughan
Health & Fitness Supervisor University of Auckland Recreation Centre

Getstrength provides quality and innovative equipment that has greatly enhanced our strength program. The new Platinum site allows access to experts in the field of Strength and Conditioning and provides information that would otherwise be hard to come by, it is invaluable being able to share in the knowledge of those that serve at the ‘coal face’.

Simon Kent
Auckland Rugby Strength Coach

Getstrength has provided quality equipment to the Highlanders and the Centre of Excellence for Amateur sport. The equipment is of a very high standard and is also superb for developing specific performance strength.

Some of the pieces of equipment we use are farmers walk implements, 2 inch thick bar, trap bar, glute ham bench (not a hammy problem in sight), safety squat bar, cambered bar, eccentric weight releasers and the mother of all challenges the 60kg steel log (our forwards just love it watch our jumpers fly this season). All this offers variety and stimulus to our training that continues to see the Highlanders push their strength levels higher and higher.

Mark Campbell
Highlanders Super 14 Rugby Strength and Conditioning Coach
