GuestHello all
I am working with some players who have had ACL reconstructions, and are re-habing at present, but not at the stage where they are running.
As I am sure most of you would agree, keeping injured players motivated is a hard task as is trying prevent a large drop off in aerobic / anaerobic conditioning.
One of the ways I have tried to keep these guys motivated / get some agression out, is have them sitting on chair in front of the heavy punch bag working on various punches in a tabata style format for 6 / 10 reps. They have been enjoying this, but I am looking for new ways to keep them motivated.
Has any one else used any novel methods to keep up some conditioning / relive boredom / increase motivation, whilst players are injured.
Thanks
