Hi there Dan, I would cycle the use of bands, chains, weight releasers and straight weight, these are used primarily for speed strength and strength speed and not hypertrophy, I have had good results using 3 week cycles of each with a 3 week cycle of just straight weight in between each cycle of bands, chains, weight releasers. As to use in Olympic lifting I feel the bands are wonderful in assisted cleans, and assisted jerks, push presses, where they build great lock out strength, cheers, ashley
