I had an ACL reconstruction 6 weeks ago (hamstring tendon), been in rehab 4 weeks. Physio is provided through the health service once a fortnight, the physio seems to work off a print out of stages, exercises are given from this print out.

I realize it’s extremely difficult for physio’s or like minded people to give advice without knowledge of background, strength etc, I just feel like I could be doing more to help my rehabilitation along.

I thought I would ask if anybody has experience or knowledge on the subject?

    Thanks for any help.

    hi,

i had mine done a week ago also. its my second though as i had the other one done five years ago. I have researched the inkjury extensively since and as such have some excellent resources i could share with you. By that i mean the latest research and also some protocols which detail exactly what you should be doing at each stage.

Send me your email and ill forward them on

    Yours in knees
    Paul
