Heard this one in a movie, thought it has an apt reference to training:
“Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery….”
To quote Ashley “Optimal training comes from basing training around each individual athlete’s ability to recover and responding to the unique needs of each individual athlete at every session!”
We dont know how an athlete is gonna respond to a particular session, match, etc and hence we as coaches need to be able to adjust accordingly.
