GuestHi Ash ,
Before I start I’d like to thank you on the time and effort in the site, the informationis great and really helpful!
During season, how many times a week do your atheletes lilft weights and what would be the splits, i.e full body, upper lower. In season I try to lift twice a week, the two days Im not at club training, is this enough to maintain strength and size?
Many thanks
Scott

GuestHi Scott a very timely question as I am working through my in season plan for the team I am currently consulting to in Japan, I will post complete details shortly but suffice to say that if you can recover then a 2 to 3 workout per week set up is best, depending on your position and personal requirements then it could be a full body strength program on Monday or Tuesday ro split upper/lower on those days and then a power based program later in the week say a Thursday fopr a Saturday game, cheers, ashley

GuestHi Scott, well I managed to get the program sorted out so here you go, this may create a number of questions, there are many ways to approach the in season weights training program, the bottom line is that a player needs to be ready to go come game day so there is a lot of variation possible within what I have planned out, there are also a number of possible combinations as well, which I am sure you can see within the framework listed, cheers, ashley

GuestAsh,
Are the Upper Body push/pulls paired up as a superset?
