Hi ash, i was looking at tabata intervals that you used in the offseason program posted on here and saw many different ways to perform the training, i just wondered what you do with your players to make it rugby specific? and if you could give me any ideas on sample workouts that you do? cheers daniel

Cheers Daniel, we do not do a lot which is rugby specific, my philosophy is to get people metabolically fit, strong and powerful and for the coaches to teach them how to play, but probably the closest would be strongman or wrestling or boxing Tabata intervals, say Tyre Flips for 20 seconds on 10 seconds rest x 10 repeats, or wrestle another player for the same time lines, sorry I can not be specific for you but that is just the way I work, cheers, ash
