Ash, I'm a tight forward and have really got into Olympic lifts, squat options, power work this season after reading your articles, your advice has been a great help. I've been performing 2 workouts a week during the season, a full body strength and power. The strength was Olympic, squat, lower back/hamstring, upper body push and upper body pull. This is an automatic thought process that happens with myself coming from years of learning lifts and been involved with various athletes and sports as a strength and conditioner. I then … [Read more...] about THE GOOD AND THE GETTING BETTER PART 1

By Tony Boutagy www.tonyboutagy.com Polish Good Mornings Introduction Single-leg good mornings are not a favoured choice amongst strength coaches because the movement cannot be loaded to any high degree - the weight on the shoulders, of course, would tip any strong athlete over. Polish weightlifters got around this problem by placing their working leg on a low step and keeping their non-working leg on the ground. The movement is then performed like a standard good morning and excels at … [Read more...] about Advanced Exercises with Eastern European Names: Part 4
