Clean start-Audit time By John Rahme An audit can be very daunting and scary experience, bringing in an unfamiliar face and a stranger to give you advice on where your business has been and is gone wrong. It’s hard not to be offended by suggestions that the auditor makes as it suggests to you that you are not capable of managing your own business. What if we change the word business in the above paragraph and change it to TRAINING or LIFE. Now this becomes a lot harder to comprehend to me … [Read more...] about Clean start-Audit time

“You cannot force change, but change must be forced” “What do you plan and intend on doing for yourself and for the team to ensure a good outcome for the game this week?” I asked. “Yeah, Nah,….I’m hoping that I can get out there and try to give it my best, you know,…… do my best I guess, that’s well,…. you know,….. What I’m looking to do.” If I asked you, if you thought or believed that this above statement sounded like it came from someone that was overly confident and raring to play, what … [Read more...] about THE GOOD AND THE GETTING BETTER. “What is it that you see when you look at the painting? what story does the painting tell you?” I asked the gentleman sitting opposite of me in my lounge room. Sitting in the lounge room with a gentleman who has being a client of mine for the last couple of months, who’s profession is an athlete. We were in the process of defining or re defining … [Read more...] about “A ten-person painting”. PART 2 – CULTURE By John Rahme.

This is an automatic thought process that happens with myself coming from years of learning lifts and been involved with various athletes and sports as a strength and conditioner. I then … [Read more...] about THE GOOD AND THE GETTING BETTER PART 1

“People who work together will win, whether it be against complex football defences, or the problems of modern society”.                            Vince Lombardi 16 YEARS TO LIFE YOUNG By John Rahme. 16 years is a long time to know someone, let alone be mentored by someone. So is the case when it comes to the case of myself and one Ashley Jones. To make a very long story short, or in this case, make a 16 year long story much shorter, I first contacted Ashley in 1999 via email, … [Read more...] about 16 Years to life Young By John Rahme.

Many years ago, I read a book and in this book, was a chapter on Henry Ford. The chapter gave a very detailed description of Henry Ford’s life achievements and character. The story takes us into a courtroom where Henry Ford was suing a journalist whom he believed defamed him. The journalist basically claimed and called Henry ford unintelligent, basically dumb and stupid. Henry Ford was not a smart man, claimed the journalist. Henry Ford is in the stand and was being questioned by the … [Read more...] about MISS THE TREE BY JOHN RAHME
