He began his association with Matt Elliot and Rugby League in general, at the Bradford Bulls in the UK Super League where he made them a physically formidable outfit that raised the bar in physical prowess and athleticsim in UK Rugby.

Week 45 – Your Workout of the Week

Hey there, just watched a very interesting you tube of the Chinese weightliters at the national training camp, they were doing sumo stance high pulls, looked a very interesting variation, must give it a trial and see for myself, well worth anyone taking a look at what is actually done with Olympic lifters, as I recall when I was fortunate to be allowed into the warm up area for the World Champs in Melbourne many years ago, all and I mean ALL of the lifters warmed up with dynamic full body mobility movements and then shifted to an empty olympic bar and progressed from there, if you do not have time to warm up properly then you definitely do not have enough time to train.

Week 31 – Your Workout of the Week – Kitchen Circuit

Having just ripped my kitchen out and it being an open empty space I took the oppurtunity to escape from my gym in the cellar and do a conditioning circuit to give me a good blow out- Snow/ Ice bound northern England has meant we’ve been unable to train or play for the last 2 weeks and I felt a tough session for the mind as well as the body was needed.

Week 32 – Your Workout of the Week

Well I think it was either Thibadeau or Waterbury who may have discussed this idea of training on T – nation a wee while ago but my training partner, Luke and I tried it today and really believe it will be the way we go for a good block of training in the new year, particularly with our modified Olympic lifting and squatting movements, it also expands on the Rule of 24 as well, in that it adds a further option for you to program with if you have the time and access to gym and equipment. This is what we did today:
